Volunteer With Us

The dedication and support of volunteers is vital in helping Black Dog Ride raise awareness of depression and suicide prevention.

Our volunteer Ride Coordination Teams are always looking for more talent to help maximise the impact of local Black Dog Rides, especially our 1 Dayer.

If you have spare time and an affinity for the cause - raising awareness of depression and suicide prevention - we encourage you to apply to be a volunteer with Black Dog Ride.


Who We Are Looking For

1 DAYER - 3rd Sunday in March every year

Role: Ride Coordinator.
Attributes: Experienced motorcycle rider. Experience in group riding. Time and motivation to bring together a team of like-minded people to organise a local Black Dog Ride every March.

Role: Fundraising Officer
Attributes: Working under the supervision of the Ride Coordinator. Energetic individual who is confident in liaising with businesses as well as community members. Imaginative and creative person who can develop local fundraising projects.

Role: Admin Officer
Attributes: Working under the supervision of the Ride Coordinator. Experience with administration and assisting leaders with necessary paperwork and finance management. Thrives on challenges and appreciates the importance of admin work in every community project.

Role: Corner Marker
Attributes: Working under the supervision of the Ride Coordinator. Experience corner marking on group rides. Has vast patience, a sense of humour, and the time to do a few recce's with the Ride Coordinator. First Aid Certification a big plus.
